The spirit of the wood craftsman has been handed down from generation to generation by the Japanese people, who have always been grateful to the forests and have an inquisitive mind towards craftsmanship that is close to people's daily lives. We are convinced that the sense of the sacred art of Japanese architecture, which can be found in shrines and temples, is also a part of this spirit.
The 「JAPAN CHAIR」 is an attempt to embody this spirit of Japanese craftsmanship with the technical skills of Hida's wood craftsmen.
