From straight Lines to Curved Surfaces
An outdoor chair with the seat of the chair constructed based on a quadratically curved surface called a hyperbolic paraboloid. The curved surface created by the strings stretched in a straight line naturally fits the body. The idea was to bring out the charm of the strings, which could not be achieved in a flat configuration.
